So the topics in class are not always something I have much interest in. They just seem bland and last minute. So I chose to write this based on my own topic. But choosing a topic freely is defiantly not as easy as some may think.
So I sit here thinking of what to write. Should I talk about the sports I play or have ever played? No, that might make some feel very un-athletic, lazy and it may seem like I’m gloating. So maybe I’ll blog about how I tore my ACL not once but almost twice? Na, that may just bore some. Since I can’t seem to think of a topic of my own I ask my friend for some advice. She suggests tattoos, my new car or my favorite place. I ponder on those ideas, but then realize I can’t. I’ve already blogged about tattoos, for a previous in class blog. In another blog my favorite place is very similar to the eulogy blog about a place I mourn.
So I decide to sit and ponder on what would interest not just me, but others who may read this. Then I come to realize the blog I seem to be thinking in, it is a blog in itself. It may not have a specific topic, it may not have a precise guideline, and it may not be “the typical” blog, but it does have my thoughts and ideas… which is what a blog is.
So my blog isn’t just a set idea, but it kinda shows how a free blog is created. Someone has to sit and think. Ponder on what they have interest in. Contemplate on what others may want to read. Consider what can be written. It’s just a whole mess of ideas. So now that you have seemed to read a whole lot of nothing, doesn’t your day feel filled? Don’t you get those tingly warm butterflies in your stomach? I hope not because I sure don’t.
So maybe this kinda shows a little of whom I am… in a weird unusual way. You can say what you want, believe what you want, but I had fun writing this blog. I didn’t think too hard and I kinda wrote exactly what ran through my head right then and there.
